Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received a delegation from the Sharjah Sports Council headed by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, along with a number of officials from both parties.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the frameworks of cooperation and coordination between the two parties in a number of sports and leadership issues that achieve the common ambition of developing the sports sector in the emirate, especially among the youth category, on whom the sporting future depends.
His Excellency Major General Al Shamsi welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the important role played by the Sharjah Sports Council in developing work in the sports sector in the Emirate, as part of its implementation of the best international practices in the field of quality and excellence, through successful sports projects and its organization of various tournaments in all clubs in the Emirate.
During the meeting, His Excellency Issa Al Hazami gave a detailed explanation of the upcoming program, which will be launched soon, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police, which aims at real investment for the youth segment to occupy leadership positions in the executive and senior leaders in society.
At the end of the meeting, memorial shields were exchanged between the two parties.
