Sharjah 24: "Sharjah Lights Festival 2022", organised by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, will continue until February 20, 2022 in different regions and cities of Sharjah, to decorate Sharjah's landmarks and buildings with a fusion of lights that embody the history and future of Sharjah. The shows highlight the architectural beauty of the emirate's most important mosques, which are unique landmarks with their stunning Islamic designs.
The "Al Noor Mosque", which is a unique architectural icon located on the banks of Khalid Lake in Sharjah, is witnessing a light show entitled "Beauty by Contrast", which highlights osition of art as a tool of communication and Islamic art through time and history as an elemental language of the universe. The first part of the show begins with a mixture of geometry, architecture, physics, mathematics and philosophy, to present the audience with a stunning display that highlights the impact of art on the world.

The second part of the show tackled the human factor and its surroundings of intertwined plants and abstract decoration on Al Noor mosque with patterns and colours that date back to the early stage of the Islamic Renaissance.

"Sharjah Mosque" show is entitled "The Harmony of Islamic Motifs", as it focuses on the beauty and splendor of the architecture of the majestic mosque, and shows creativity in the presentation of aesthetic touches, as well as its harmony with Islamic motifs. Rapid digital designs bring to the display a contrast that balances sophistication and speed.

In the first stage of the show, the splendid Islamic architecture is highlighted, as the beam of light that represents the "primary vision" gathers. Then it moves to the second stage, which focuses on the "present", relying on digital fonts, bright colours, and a line that indicates speed, progress and development. While in the third stage, shows simple lines made of light are used, drawing and defining the details of building the mosque, to form in a painting a harmonious formula for the future.

The presentation of "Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi Mosque", located in the city of Dibba AlHisn, celebrates the heritage, originality and progress achieved by Sharjah, bearing the name "Islam, Architecture and Heritage". The show tells the story of harmony between the components of the emirate's past, present and future. This evocative show uses traditional and contemporary elements to highlight the originality of the building, through the use of letter structures, the movement of lights and the contrast between the degrees of brightness on the facade, which combines the values of trust, integrity, intelligence, strength, knowledge and stability.

The sites of the "Sharjah Lights Festival 2022" receive all visitors during weekdays to enjoy shows from 6 to 11 pm, and during the weekend from 6 pm to 12 midnight.
