Sharjah24: Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah, and His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Khalaf, Director-General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, received Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Fath Othman, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in the Republic of Chad.
The team reviewed the projects and efforts of the Academy's pioneering efforts in the service of researchers and scholars, and stressed the importance of these visits in strengthening relations between the Academy of the Arabic Language in Sharjah and linguistic academies in various Arab and Islamic countries.
Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Fath Othman toured the departments of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, and praised the contents of his library, which includes the mothers of linguistic and lexical books and all kinds of legal, philosophical and scientific books, which researchers in the sciences and literature of the Arabic language cannot do without.
Dr. Othman praised Sharjah's adoption of major cultural projects, foremost of which is the historical dictionary project for the Arabic language, and thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his sponsorship of various efforts.
During the visit, a meeting was held in which the Secretary-General of the Academy of the Arabic Language in Chad explained the works and programs of the Academy in the Republic and the intensive steps taken by the Academy to develop its work during the past year.
