ALA reopens its private library for those interested in Arabic

The library of The Arabic Language Academy
Sharjah 24: The Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah announced the reopening of its private library for students, scholars, researchers and those interested in the Arabic language. The library will serve those interested in Arabic sciences, knowledge and grammar, whereas the ALA renewed and updated the library content, sections, providing new books and references.
In an invitation to all the Arabic languages lovers, ALA revealed that the library includes more than four thousand books in different branches of knowledge, especially in the field of the Arabic language, including those related to jurisprudence, Sharia, history, literature, criticism and poetry, as well as grammar books, morphology and specialised Arabic dictionaries.

Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, indicated that the library was established in conjunction with the establishment of the Academy, but all departments were developed to create an attractive environment that encourages reading, pointing out that it is a specialised library that includes the principal printed sources of linguistic and lexical books, and all types of legal, philosophical and scientific book that are necessary for researchers and scholars.
 
Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi said that the library sources and references were classified and digitised.

The Secretary-General of ALA explained that the library includes a number of rare publications in the field of periodicals, including the "Al-Risala magazine", which was headed by Ahmed Hassan Al-Zayat, and consists of 60 volumes, Al-Diya' magazine, Insights magazine, and the foreign literature magazine.

Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi pointed out that ALA library contains most of the publications of the language academies in the Arab world, including scientific and linguistic magazines and publications.

The Secretary-General of ALA concluded that the Academy library welcomes all those interested in the Arabic language to benefit from the library books.
