Sharjah24: The ‘Sharjah Innovates’ Virtual Forum is set to open on Monday, February 14, from 10am to 12pm. The forum's agenda includes an inspiring dialogue session with Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, and moderated by Asmaa Hassouni, a broadcaster at the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
The session entitled "Dialogue on the concept of innovation and the latest developments in future innovations" will focus on the concept of innovation and the role it plays in supporting and serving the future directions of the UAE government by making it a fundamental pillar for the progress of society.
Dr. Marwan Al Zarooni, Director of Information Services Department at the Dubai Electronic Security Center, and Executive Director of the Dubai Blockchain Center and
Inventor Khalifa Al Jaziri, Projects Advisor for the Commercial Affairs Regulatory Sector at the Ministry of Economy, and Executive Director of the Smart IOT Group, will headline the special dialogue session.
The speakers will also touch on the latest and most important scientific and technological trends in the world in the field of innovation which is known as digital space and non-replaceable codes.
Governance of geospatial information at the Federal Center for Geographical Information
The discussion session, titled “Innovation between Methodology and Application”, also discusses innovative practices in government work, the relationship of innovation to
work development and performance, knowledge and innovation of employees, and linking innovation to the country’s outputs and directions.
Her Excellency Hanan Al Mahmoud, Member of the Board of Trustees of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, His Excellency Eng. Anwar Muhammad Al-Shammari, Executive Director of the Geospatial Information Governance Sector at the Federal Center for Geographical Information, Col, Tariq Al Midfa, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at the Sharjah Police General Command, Dr Adel Saeed Sajwani, Family Medicine Specialist at Fakeeh University Hospital and will participate in the session. The session is moderated by Ahmed Sultan Al Ali, a broadcaster at the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
