Sharjah 24: Within the new plan for publishing and book issuance, sponsored by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), in an effort to enrich the Arab book industry with many valuable books, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage, recently launched the “World of Heritage” series, on the sidelines of the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF), for the year 2022.
The “World of Heritage” is an updated series run by the Egyptian writer and critic Ihab Al Mallah, within a group of heritage series, which will be launched by SIH this year, with the aim of enriching and diversifying the heritage content.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam spoke about the valuable and important efforts exerted by SIH, in order to enrich the Arab heritage content, especially after the great merits achieved by the Institute, turning SIH into a patron of the Arab and Gulf heritage.
Al Musallam confirmed that the series is of great importance in reviving many valuable books in the history of Arab culture, and it is one of a number of series that the Institute will publish during this year.
Al Musallam pointed out that SIH exerted lots of efforts to strengthen partnerships and joint cooperations with different Egyptian and Arab institutions, especially those working in the field of publishing and books, in an effort to make the Institute’s publications available to the audience of readers wherever they were.
