Sharjah 24: The city of Al Dhaid celebrated "50 Years of Sultan’s Love" ceremony, organised by Al Dhaid Municipal Council and Al Dhaid Municipality, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the presence of a number of sheikhs, officials, dignitaries and residents of the city.
Mohammed Sultan bin Howaiden, Chairman of the Organising Committee for Al Dhaid City Celebrations, expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for what His Highness has done for the Emirate of Sharjah to attain this global status, and for the people of the Emirate.
He told "Sharjah 24" that organising this celebration is an expression of the joy of the people of Al Dhaid for the 50th anniversary of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's accession.
The ceremony included a number of folk songs, and poems expressing love for His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
