Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi toured the corners and the accompanying sections of the event, which included pavilions for many institutions, during which they presented national workshops and performances, in addition to art exhibitions that tell of the renaissance of Sharjah since His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah’s accession.
Sheikh Sultan was briefed on the participation of the Professional Crafts Centre, which provides attendees with a set of presentations and workshops on many crafts.
The main events began on the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre with the playing of the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, after which Khamis bin Salim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, gave a speech in which he referred to the special occasion on which everyone gathers for the love of the Ruler of Sharjah and his pioneering achievements over fifty years.
After that, the audience watched an operetta, which included folk arts and poems. with the participation of the children of Khorfakkan.
Then a number of Emirati artists presented various songs in the love of the homeland and social cohesion, and expressing love for His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
The students of Abdullah bin Mubarak School for Basic Education presented an operetta entitled ‘Thank you Sultan’, during which they expressed their appreciation for the generosity and efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi in all fields to care for children and provide them with a decent life.
The ceremony concluded with a singing segment entitled ‘Fifty Years’, showcasing the various achievements made under the leadership of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah over half a century.
