Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Council, an affiliate of The Department of Districts and Villages Affairs (DVA) in Sharjah, discussed the different roles and plans for 2022, according to the objectives aiming to enhance communication with the people within the role of the Council as a link between society and the government.
The meeting, which was held at the council’s headquarters, in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, was chaired by His Excellency Sulaiman bin Jumaah Al Yahyi, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn  Council, and was attended by council members. 

The meeting discussed the council’s accomplishments over the past period, ways of communicating with citizens and strengthening the council’s relations with institutions and all concerned authorities.

The Council extended thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support to the councils, including Dibba Al Hisn Council, whereas the councils play an important role in serving the citizens and communicating their needs to the concerned departments and bodies of Sharjah government.

Then the council discussed different plans and continuous programmes to serve citizens, and reviewed their needs according to the role of the councils operating in the Emirate of Sharjah, which were established with a wise vision to facilitate services.

According to the agenda, the members reviewed the council’s work for the year 2022 and how to enhance communication with the people of the city within the “Yelsetna” initiative. Members also discussed how to put forward ideas and proposals for the 2022 plan to be submitted to the council development team.

The meeting focused on holding joint events and working to enhance effective social communication with citizens, aspects of joint cooperation, and the development of programmes and events that provide services to citizens and meet their needs.
