Sharjah24: The Dibba Al Hisn Council (DAHC), an affiliate of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD), organised a distinguished celebration in which the attendees expressed their country's achievements on the occasion of the country's 50th National Day.
The ceremony, which was held on Saturday evening, was attended by His Excellency Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairman of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al-Dhahouri, Vice Chairman of the Council, Director of the Department Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, and Mohammed Hassan Al Dhahouri, vice chairman of Districts and Villages Affairs Department's office in Dibba Al Hisn.
The celebration included various activities to mark the country’s remarkable achievements, in the presence of a number of the nation's poets who presented their most beautiful poems to express their loyalty and love to the UAE, marking the establishment of the union
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al-Dhahouri honoured the poets and presented to them commemorative shields in appreciation of their participation and giving in the celebration.
