Sharjah24: Brigadier General Dr. Khaled Hamad Al Hammadi, Director of the Police Research Centre Department at the Sharjah Police (SP), received a delegation headed by Colonel Dr. Saeed Ali Al Khaili from the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Policing and Security Studies at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, in the presence of Colonel Ali Al-Dabbahi, Deputy Director of the Police Research Center, and Lt. Colonel Abdullah Al Malih, Head of the Research Department The center, and a number of specialised officers from both parties.
The visit came with the aim of reviewing the experience of the Sharjah Police Research Center in the field of supporting scientific research and strengthening joint cooperation and building bridges of communication between police leaders in the country, in order to achieve quality, leadership and future foresight, which is in line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.
At the beginning of the meeting, Brigadier General Dr. Khaled Hamad Al Hammadi welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the cooperation and communication between Sharjah Police and its counterpart in Abu Dhabi in order to exchange experiences and knowledge, stressing the importance of these visits that achieve common goals between the two sides, support joint work and enhance the strategic goals of the Ministry of Interior in the field of scientific research and future foresight.
The meeting reviewed the performance indicators of the Sharjah Police Research Center and the policies of its working mechanism. It also reviewed the organisational structure and its specialisations that highlight the center’s efforts in scientific research, in addition to presenting the center’s participation in scientific forums such as seminars, exhibitions and conferences at all local and regional levels; as well as the center’s organisation of various events that develop the community service security.
For his part, the visiting delegation expressed thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Police General Command for the warm reception, praising the constructive strategic cooperation with the Police Research Center, noting that the benchmarking contributes to the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and enhances the process of excellence and development pursued by the leaderships in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
