The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ibrahim Musabih Al Ajel, Deputy Director General of Police Operations; Colonel Dr. Ali Abu Al Zoud, Deputy Director General of Central Operations; Rashid Al-Bairaq, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs in the Islamic Affairs Department, and a number of directors and heads of departments in Sharjah Police.
The meeting highlighted the efforts made, and the continuous coordination in strengthening the precautionary measures applied in the emirate’s mosques, especially during Friday prayers, to prevent the spread of (Covid-19), and in a manner that ensures the dissemination of a spirit of reassurance of members of society.
Random parking in front of mosques during Friday prayers which results in disruption of the smooth run of traffic, and other related issues were also addressed at the meeting.
The meeting emphasised the importance of doubling efforts of the specialised field teams in following up on the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures in the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to intensifying patrols near mosques, to enhance road security.
The NCEMA team called on community members to fully comply with all preventive measures and health and organisational instructions issued by the competent authorities in the country.
