Sharjah 24: Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at the Sharjah Police, highlighted the importance of contact centres in providing information to the public to keep pace with the digital revolution.
In his participation in the second edition of the Sharjah Forum for Contact Centres, organised by Sharjah Contact Centre of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau Brigadier at the Oceanic Khorfakkan Hotel, under the slogan “Digital Solutions…International Experiences”, Al Naour presented a work paper about the experience of the Sharjah Police in this regard, reviewing the chronology of the emergence and development of contact centres and the expansion of their roles.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, the Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police stressed that contact centres have become a necessity imposed by the changes of this era, especially in wake of the massive digital revolution and the development of artificial intelligence techniques.
He added that contact centres are important channels to serve the public and save time and effort for the customer to access information, stressing that this sector is in dire need to keep pace with the rapid developments to improve its services to the public, especially in the UAE, which hosts more than 200 nationalities.
