Sharjah 24: The Contact Centre of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau organised, on Tuesday, a tour for the guests of the Sharjah Forum for Contact Centres, to the cultural and heritage attractions in the city of Khorfakkan.
The activities of the second edition of the Sharjah Forum for Contact Centres (SFCC), organised by the SGMB’s Sharjah Contact Centre, will kick off Wednesday at the Oceanic Khorfakkan Hotel.

Engineer Khaled Omar Al Naqbi, director of the Sharjah Contact Centre, said in an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24” that the tour started from the Rafisa Dam Rest House, passing through the historic village of Najd Al Maqsar, to government headquarters.

Al Naqbi added that, as part of the tour, the guests visited the headquarters of the Sharjah Contact Centre, where they learned about the nature of its work as a unified contact centre for various government departments in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The tour also included a visit to Flag Pole Square, the Resistance Monument, the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and the Waterfall. The guests also toured the Sharq Heritage Market and the Khorfakkan Fort Museum, where they expressed their great happiness for learning about the city's landmarks and its rich history.

The Director of the Sharjah Contact Centre pointed out that the forum includes a number of dialogue sessions and training workshops, presented by a group of specialists, to review the most prominent developments in the work of the contact centres.
