Sharjah24: The Buildings Projects Department of the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) organised an interactive introductory workshop and a presentation for employees entitled lessons learned from the Holy Quran Academy (HQA) project.
The workshop sheds light on the most important elements that were taken into account in the construction of the building, reviewing the facilities it provides, contributing in promoting and supporting excellence and creativity.
The workshop, which was attended by more than 30 male and female employees, included a visual presentation of the Academy and its facilities, highlighting the most important aesthetic and architectural features of the HQA’s buliding and facilities .
Engineer Alia Rand, director of the Buildings Projects Department in the Directorate stressed that the organisation of the workshop is part of the Directorate's initiatives aimed at disseminating successful projects to all employees, contributing in spreading creativity at work and attracting potential talent.
She added that the Directorate aims, by organising such workshops, to hone the skills of employees and educate them about how to manage their businesses and the factors that affect the success of their projects.
The Directorate's engineers spoke about the most important challenges they faced during the implementation of the project.
The workshop concluded with a panel discussion with the attendees, then a visit to the project site, to learn about the construction of the project’s site .
