Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Head of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, inaugurated, on Sunday, the exhibition "Tajalyat", in the homes of calligraphers in Calligraphy Square, by the Syrian artist, Jalal Ibrahim Al Mohareb, as part of the activities of the 24th edition of the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival.
The Syrian artist, Jalal Al Mohareb, explained that the exhibition “Tajalyat” is divided into two parts: the first is a classic that follows the classical academic school, and the other is chromatic and literal, pointing out that the mystical character dominates this exhibition.
Al Mohareb indicated, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that “Tajalyat” exhibition conveys the artist's spiritual state and depicts it into a well-studied, visual artistic work based on the foundations and beauty of Arabic calligraphy, adding, "There is a diversity in the Arabic fonts.
