Sharjah 24: The Academic Council of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) met for the second time recently, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), and addressed a range of projects, ideas, programmes, and concerns relating to heritage.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), stated that the Academic Council is comprised of a constellation of Sharjah government leaders, officials, and academics, as well as those from outside the Sharjah government, who possess a wealth of distinguished capabilities, insights, and expertise.
His Excellency confirmed that the meeting discussed the importance and necessity of having ambassadors for the SIH, who would represent the SIH's cultural heritage in various academic institutions and in society, noting that Dr. Hamad bin Sarai had been elected Vice-Chairman of the Academic Council.
Since the SIH’s inception, the academic administration has worked within an ambitious plan, which it has been implemented efficiently, and has achieved remarkable successes and achievements in terms of developing and executing programmes, in addition to the numerous agreements and directions sought within the SIH’s work system.
