Sharjah24: The Department of Awqaf in Sharjah has started the implementation of the construction works for a number of Awqaf buildings in different parts of the Emirate of Sharjah, in an effort by Awqaf Department in Sharjah to achieve its strategic objectives, and to exercise its powers to revive the endowment year, increase endowment assets and invest funds the optimal investment.
Where the department revealed the start of implementing an endowment project for residential villas in the Al Khuzamiya area, at a total cost of (6,690,000) dirhams, and work is underway to implement an endowment project for residential villas in the Al Tala'a area, at a cost of (8,380,000) dirhams.
His Excellency Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department, stated that the new endowment proceeds will benefit the development of the endowment and the achievement of its purposes, stressing the department's keenness to achieve its strategic goals by supporting the endowment sector, and contributing to the economic development renaissance in the emirate by implementing real estate and residential projects, maximizing the endowment's return and achieving sustainability in it.
