Sharjah 24: Sharjah Awqaf launched the charity card initiative with the aim of reaching the largest possible segment of society members.
In exclusive statements to Sharjah 24, Amer Mohammed Obaid, Endowment Projects Official in Sharjah Awqaf stated that the charity cards are available in many places, including Sharjah Cooperative Society. The card contains several projects such as water supply, building mosques and orphanages, and other endowment projects.
He pointed out that the donor has the freedom to choose where the donation goes by choosing the type of project and the cashiers will scan the card to deduct the selected amount.
