Sharjah24: The Department of Family Development Centers (DFDC) of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah (SCFA), represented by the Department of Studies and Knowledge, announced the launch of a project to study the human pattern in the Emirate of Sharjah, in cooperation with the Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sharjah and the Department of Statistics and Community Development. The project period extends, which targets all citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah, over 5 years from 2021 until 2025, subject to extension, based on the study outcomes.
The project, which is based on the indicators extracted from the social risk register in the management of family development centers, aims to develop preventive and curative plans on sound scientific grounds to treat family problems for the citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah, and to make recommendations to those concerned to take decisions and develop policies and legislation related to the family.

Reham Al Sabt, Director of Studies and Knowledge Department, indicated that the launch of the project to study the human pattern in the Emirate of Sharjah comes within the framework of the strategy of the Department of Family Development Centers in Sharjah, which aims to anticipate and formulate the future of sustainable social development and its future directions, in light of the rapid changes and their impact on community development.

Project work mechanisms
Reham Al Sabt pointed out the importance of the project in contributing to obtaining indicators and data about the lifestyles of community members in the Emirate of Sharjah, in a way that helps the competent authorities in setting policies and strategies for community development, identifying the type of challenges facing the family and taking preventive and remedial plans for them, noting that part of the project's work mechanism includes preparing questionnaires and forms related to the study of the different samples of the study project, and then analyzing and evaluating the results associated with each sample and developing the solutions associated with them, in order to prepare the final report on the project to study the human pattern in the Emirate of Sharjah supported by recommendations.
