Sharjah24: The Organisational Committee for Border Ports and Points in Sharjah held its eleventh regular meeting for the year 2021, during which it discussed many topics on the meeting’s agenda, and the readiness of all authorities and ports with regard to receiving visitors and arrivals to the country during the UAE National Day and Omani National Day holidays, with an emphasis on the continuity of efforts aimed at to develop and improve the general performance of all ports of the Emirate.

His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs, Chairman of the Organising Committee of Border Points and Ports in the Emirate of Sharjah, valued the role of the Sharjah government and its great support for the work of the Committee and providing all possibilities to achieve its objectives. .

Al Raisi stressed the committee’s keenness to achieve the goals for which it was established through permanent work to raise the efficiency and readiness of border crossings and areas at the emirate level, as well as monitoring challenges and developing appropriate solutions to them and following up on the recommendations emanating from the committee, with the aim of developing work mechanisms and improving services.
