Sharjah24: A delegation from the Customer Service Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), during their visit to the government services headquarters of the UAE government in Dubai affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, discussed cooperation and coordination to implement best practices in the development of customer service offices to provide the best services to customers, and was briefed on the Emirates Program for Excellence in Government Services (EPEGS).
The delegation was received by Eng. Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services for the UAE Government. The delegation was headed by Hamid Taher Al Haj, Director of Customer Service Department, and Hussein Askar, Deputy Director of Customer Service Department, and the delegation included a number of department heads and officials.

Hamed Taher Al Haj, Director of Customer Service Department at SEWA, explained that the visit aims to review the policies and initiatives for developing government services, as part of the authority’s efforts to prepare and implement an integrated strategy to develop services and work procedures and achieve the visions of the wise leadership in the Emirate of Sharjah in developing and improving government services and achieving Customer satisfaction and achieving their aspirations.

During the visit, His Excellency Eng. Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services for the UAE Government, reviewed the vision of the Emirates Program for Excellence in Government Services to improve the services provided that exceed the expectations of customers based on two main principles: focus on the customer and government efficiency.
