Sharjah24: The Central Region Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed a number of development projects in the districts and various regions, including the installation of 430 lighting poles with a length of 22 km and the installation of energy-saving headlights in 5 different areas, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide the best services and lighting the popular areas in the central region.
Engineer Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department, confirmed that the authority has implemented a number of street and road lighting projects in the central region since the beginning of this year, where more than 3,275 lighting poles have been installed, extending approximately 150,000 meters of cables in various regions, according to a plan, timetable, specifications and quality.

He pointed out that street and road lighting projects are continuing in the central region according to a plan and timetable, with specifications and high quality, using energy-saving headlights and lamps that are commensurate with highways and main and side streets, and providing lighting for the areas, which contributes to providing the best services with the latest technology standards, to meet the needs of the population.

He stressed that the Central Region Department receives customers at its headquarters in Al Bataeh area to provide services for paying consumption bills, delivery fees, violations, lease contracts and no objection to serve the families and facilitate them.
