Sharjah24: A delegation from the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) visited a number of platforms at GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, to review advanced experiences in the application of artificial intelligence, identify opportunities and challenges, and provide solutions to enhance performance and services, in addition to determining the future course of action and meeting the needs of customers.
During the visit, a meeting was held with a delegation from the Roads and Transport Authority, headed by Hind Al Falasi, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Department, with the aim of reviewing the experience of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai for applying the artificial intelligence system in the field of customer service.
Hamed Taher Al Hajj, Director of Customer Service Department, explained the authority's commitment to promoting its digital projects and completing the digital transformation process that serves all business sectors.
He pointed out that the authority is developing a programme to adopt artificial intelligence technology in subscriber service offices to evaluate the performance of employees, determine the categories of the public, and raise the percentage of satisfaction with the services provided by the offices, in implementation of the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Sharifa Al Zarooni, Director of the Procurement Department, confirmed that preparing a strategic plan for the implementation of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the authority will contribute to the shift to innovation and creativity, ensure efficient and high quality services delivery, and measure customer satisfaction.
