Sharjah24: Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties organised on Thursday the second virtual learning difficulties forum, under the slogan "Creativity Under the Microscope of Learning Difficulties", with the aim of discussing ways to support the creative side of people with learning difficulties and enhance their self-confidence, as well as encouraging entities and institutions to focus on issues and topics of this category.
The second forum, organised virtually under the auspices of Sharjah Private Education Authority, and in cooperation with Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Sharjah Government Media Bureau, Ministry of Community Development, Emirates Foundation for School Education and Sharjah Education Council, to focus on several topics within a series of discussion sessions that highlight the need to change the societal view of this segment.
Sheikha Jamila bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, General Director of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, stressed the need for all institutions, government and private agencies, and educational entities to participate in supporting people with learning difficulties , and to inform the community of their needs and to identify the best local and international practices in the field of supporting this segment in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
