Sharjah24: On the fifth anniversary of establishing Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities (SCLD) , Sheikha Jamila bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, extended her sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for directing to establish Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities in 2016.
Sheikha Jamila bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, stated “After receiving the directions of His Highness to establish SCLD, Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities was opened within a record period of time no more than two months, stressing the importance of having a specialised center that adopts the latest international practices and provides its services by specialists at the highest levels.
For her part, Dr. Hanadi Obeid Al-Suwaidi expressed her pride for the achievements that have been recorded in a short period of time, as one of them was the winning of Khalifa Award for Education in the field of innovative educational projects and programmes in UAE and Arab level (institutions category) with the exploration project in May 2020 .
Dr. Hanadi declared that the center is currently preparing to organise the second Learning Difficulties Forum in late October under the slogan (Creativity under the Microscope of Learning Disabilities), and it continues to provide services to its affiliates and the community in accordance with international best practices.
