SCLD, Al Ahliya schools sign MoU

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities (SCLD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Ahliya private schools, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties on programmes and services provided for students with learning disabilities.
Dr. Hanadi Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities (SCLD) , and Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Shaath, Chairman of Board of Directors and General Director of Al Ahliya private schools, signed MoU in the presence of a number of directors and heads of departments from both sides.

The memorandum aims to exchange field visits between two parties to benefit from their experiences, as well as to cooperate in developing future plans and programmes aimed at integrating students with learning difficulties in Al Ahliya private schools. 

Under the memorandum of understanding, the two parties will work on developing mechanisms to provide services for students with learning difficulties affiliated with the center from Al Ahliya private schools, in addition to encouraging the employees of both sides to volunteer and participate in activities and events of the society.

Dr. Hanadi Obeid Al-Suwaidi praised the keenness of Al Ahliya private schools to develop cooperation with the center through signing MoU aiming to deepen the bonds of joint cooperation between the two sides, which enhances the principle of community partnership in order to improve the services provided to this segment of the society according to the best standards. 

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Shaath appreciated the partnership with SCLD, commending their efforts in developing institutional societal awareness in the field of learning difficulties and providing modern systems to support this category.
