SAVW, DWA to lecture on ‘Motivation in Voluntary Work’

Held remotely via the "Zoom", on October 28, the lecture targeted community members, institutions, and voluntary teams. 

The lecture highlighted the importance of motivating voluntary work via offering various initiatives, the concept of motivation, its types, and its importance in voluntary work.

Dr Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the DWA, stated that volunteering contributes to building a better future, and achieving community solidarity, strengthening the bond of its members.

Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the SAVW, confirmed that the Award enhances its cooperation with various government and private agencies, to instil the concept of volunteering in the community and its various institutions.

The Award is keen to continue cooperation with its strategic partners in refining the skills of the volunteers which supports individual and institutional voluntary work.
