Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) organised a training programme on managing institutional voluntary work, targeting Sharjah employees government entities specialising in managing institutional volunteer work.
Executed from October 12 to 14, The programme was given remotely via “Zoom”, where 43 employees participated in.

Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Award, presented the most prominent practical skills in how to manage voluntary work within institutions, in terms of organizational and administrative aspects, hiring employees, focusing on several mechanisms of planning and supervising, in addition to new developments in voluntary work.

Dr Jassim Al Hammadi, Secretary General of SAVW, stressed that the programme is a joint plan among government institutions to educate and promote the concept of volunteering professionally to society.
