The Syrian diva presented such widely popular and loved songs as "I Miss You", "Bint Akbar", "Punishment", "Love Me", and "That Stupid," “I used to care”, and 'my soul, my soul'.
Asala made her audience join her as she sang "I hear the echo of your voice", from the poems of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which she sang for the first time in 1991. The song became an instant hit across the Arab world and it marks the beginning of her fantastic journey in the region.
Al Ruwaished, known as the ambassador of the Gulf song, treated his thousands of fans to some of the choicest songs from his rich repertoire that have immortalised his name in the annals of Arab and Gulf music.
The Kuwaiti legend interacted constantly with the audience treating them to such iconic songs as "Dunia Al-Wala", "Uwaishek" and "Hijratak", and “Imagine, so-and-so,” and “follow my heart” etc.
Al-Ruwaished cast a spell on his UAE fans by performing the song “Four of the Poplars” from the poems of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.
He repeatedly received rapturous applause from his audience at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, as he created an incredibly magical experience with his deft use of poetry, melody and musical instruments.
