Sharjah 24: The General Command of Sharjah Police (SP), represented by the Community Police Department (CPD), organised "Be My Partner In Innovation" workshop, with the cooperation of the Emirates Association for the Visually Impaired (EAVI).
The workshop aims to involve the blind in the community partnerships implemented by Sharjah Police with various institutions in the country, which translates the wise vision of the UAE government in innovation and creativity in various events.

The workshop was attended by Lt. Col. Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the (CPD), Adel Al Zumar, Chairman of the EAVI, and 15 people with visual impairments along with several employees of the SP.

Lt. Col. Ahmed Al Marri confirmed that Sharjah Police seeks to empower and integrate the blind by involving them in their projects, noting that cooperating with the EAVI plays a major role in finding innovative solutions to the problems they face.

He indicated that Sharjah Police is keen to provide and develop all kinds of services that are suitable for the Disabled in Sharjah to enhance the quality of life for the UAE community.

The workshop shed light on innovation, a discussion session on important innovative models done by the Disable, and list suggestions and ideas of the blind and their needs that are involved in the field of Sharjah Police.
