Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, attended the Sp's ceremony on practicing positive guidance, held at the House of Wisdom, in the presence of a number of general managers, directors of departments and officers from different police departments.
The ceremony included a review of the results of the Sharjah Police’s coaching practices for the year 2020, and their impact on raising the index of happiness and quality of life. The ceremony also reviewed future plans aiming at qualifying the second grade of accredited coaches in 2022, launching a policy for positive guidance and participating in the International Prisem Award, considering that the Sharjah Police is the first police institution in the world to implement coaching within its operations according to the principles and standards of the International Coaching Federation.

Major General Al Shamsi honoured the lecturers who presented the course, namely, Hassan Hadi Hussein Al Hasani and Weaam Youssef Ishaq Salamin. 

Major General Al Shamsi also honoured the "3" departments that ranked first  in the happiness and quality of life index, namely, the General Directorate of the Emiri Guard, the Department of Narcotics Control, the Community Police Department, and the Coaching Team, which included "11" members from different police departments in the Command.

In his speech, Major General Al Shamsi, said that happiness is the goal sought by each individual, and it does not come from nothing or without effort. . He stressed the important role played by the team members in order to enhance the quality of life in the work environment and achieve professional happiness, which is a top priority for the police Command in Sharjah.
