Sharjah 24: Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department of Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), confirmed that SP covered all measurements from security to traffic plans due to the approach of desert safari season.

Al Zaabi gave his statement during "Aman Ya Beladi", the Department of Media and Public Relations of Sharjah Police programme, broadcasted live on Sharjah Radio.

He explained that society’s safety is a top priority, pointing out that all the concerned authorities made the arrangements in advance to ensure a safe trip to the wilderness.

Salem Obaid Al Ketbi, Director of Al Madam Municipality, talked about the tourism boom regarding the wilderness areas in winter, and how the partnership between the municipality and SP made the necessary arrangements for the people.
