Sharjah 24: Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations of Sharjah Police, discussed the efforts made by the Sharjah Police to ensure highest standard of security and safety for students and educational staff during the new scholastic year 2021-2022.
Brigadier Dr. Al Naour confirmed that all concerned departments have developed plans to receive the year new scholastic year during the pandemic. He also referred to the new preventive measures that were applied to bus drivers to receive students during the pandemic, whereas it has been coordinated with the Roads and Transport Authority to educate drivers and provide a number of workshops and lectures in this regard.

In an interview on the programme "Aman Ya Beladi", which is prepared and presented by the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Sharjah Police, and broadcast live on Sharjah Radio, the Director General of Central Operations of Sharjah Police revealed the most prominent modern technologies that have been used operating a drone equipped with cameras that transmit different incidents to the mini-operation room.

Captain Saud Al Shaiba, Director of the Traffic Awareness and Media Branch, spoke over the phone about the importance of raising children and school students traffic awareness, and consolidating the concept of traffic culture among the public, whether in school curricula or through security lectures that are presented in different educational institutions.

Captain Mohammed Al Souqi from the Operations Department of the General Directorate of the Emiri Guard, spoke over the phone, about the procedures taken to provide the highest standards of security and traffic safety for school students distributing security patrols and school security personnel to school complexes aiming to regulate the traffic close to school gates and adjacent roads.
   
Captian Al Souqi added that school security patrols, traffic sergeants and the Emiri Guard’s mobile operations room vehicle are present. He concluded that children’s security traffic patrols having an attractive design for children are present to raise children awareness, as they are accompanied by the children’s favourite cartoon characters “Salem and Salama.”
