Sharjah 24 - WAM: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) announced that it has assisted 10,000 struggling families over the last three years at a value of nearly AED250 million.
Abdullah bin Khadim, CEO of the SCI, said: "The aids include regular monthly aid, settling court cases for a number of defaulters, payment of rental dues, in addition to providing assistance in furnishing and equipping housing," explaining that the Needy Families Committee approved in its last meeting, early last week, providing aid to a number of new deserving families.
Bin Khadim affirmed the Society's readiness to accept all assistance requests and provide assistance to all individuals and low-income households via the Society's website or free line, praising the efforts of the Society's co-operating institutions as well as the contributions of the Society's sponsors and donors.
