Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has welcomed 826 new persons since the beginning of the year, bringing the total number of people supported by SCI to nearly 26,000, with a total of 25 million dirhams in charity contributed to them.
Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, Director of Projects and Kafala Department, confirmed that this comes in line with the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as His Highness pays close attention to the Kafala programme.

He went on to say that the Kafala programme provides support to five groups, including orphans, low-income families, students, imams, teachers, and people with disabilities, and that SCI pays for treatment and tuition.

He expressed gratitude to the donors for their contributions, praising their prominent and influential role in achieving social solidarity, which represents SCI's strategies to support and assist all deserving groups.
