Sharjah 24: The Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, stated that SCI's support provided to the nursing home during the past four years exceeded 1.6 million dirhams, which included the purchase of medical devices and their delivery, contributing to raising the level of health and social services for all the elderly.
He added that this support comes within the roles and social responsibilities of SCI, which reflects the importance and impact of charitable work in supporting service institutions, and in appreciation of the efforts made by those in charge of social work to serve an important segment, namely the elderly parents and grandparents segment.
He pointed to the importance of caring for the elderly, whether through their affiliated institutions or by supporting the individuals themselves who spent their lives in the service of society.
