Sharjah24: As part of its humanitarian initiative “Educate by Pen" aims at supporting needy segment of society, The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has supported 565 orphans affiliated with the foundation in Sharjah and the Central and Eastern regions by allocating approximately AED 2.5 million to support their educational journey , who have accumulated tuition fees at the beginning of the current academic year 2021-2022.
Building on this, Mona bin Hadda Al-Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, affirmed that this initiative aims to support this segment of society through allocating annual amount of assistance to support families who are unable to pay their children’s tuition fees in their various stages of education in schools and universities.
She affirmed that "Teach by Pen" initiative is one of the most prominent strategic and distinguished projects that the Foundation adopts and gives it great attention, as it is linked to education, which is the basis of development and construction of the society.
In turn, Umm Lynn, one of the beneficiaries of the initiative said, “I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to SSEF’s members who adopt this humanitarian initiative serving orphans in their educational journey.
