Sharjah Police delivers awareness lectures to SEWA employees

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Criminal Investigation Department, continued the delivery of security awareness lectures for Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) employees through the (Saher) initiative in different languages (Arabic, English and Urdu), 93 employees participated.
The awareness lectures are part of the Criminal Investigation Department plans and programmes aimed at enhancing security and safety in the Emirate of Sharjah. 

The lecture given by Major Ahmed Al Muhairi, Head of the Crime Prevention Team, and members of the team, tackled a number of important topics, including introducing the concept of security by involving them in the prevention of crime, combating negative phenomena, speeding communication with the security services, and other security topics that aim to strengthen safety and security.

Major Ahmed Al Muhairi confirmed that communicating with the police and reporting crimes and negative phenomena is a civilised feature, reflecting the security responsibility to protect lives and society properties.

Major Al Muhairi pointed that Sharjah Police seeks effective and continuous cooperation with all segments of the society by reporting all negative phenomena, to reach a safe crime-free society. He also urged all society members to call through the communication channels provided for this purpose, whether the Criminal Investigation Department number, WhatsApp number, or by calling the central operations for emergency cases and serious accidents.

The lectures were well received by the attendees, who expressed their full readiness to cooperate with the Sharjah Police, and extended thanks and gratitude for the efforts made by the Sharjah Police in raising security and traffic awareness.
