Sharjah 24: Dr. Ali Obaid Al Zaabi, Deputy Assistant Director of the University of Sharjah (UoS) for Branch Affairs, confirmed that the Kalba branch is ready to receive students with the start of the new academic year.
The administrative and academic body has started work at the headquarters of UoS’s branch in Kalba, with 100% in preparation for the start of the new academic year.
The Deputy Assistant Director of UoS for Branch Affairs said that the Kalba Branch is in accordance with the strategic plan of the university, in which hybrid education system has been adopted for the current stage, which will be activated starting next week.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, he stated that the university takes into account the application of the most stringent precautionary measures with the start of receiving students on the campus, including physical distancing, thermal examination, PCR tests, and mandatory wearing of masks, in addition to providing an integrated medical clinic for emergency cases.
Dr. Al Zaabi added that UoS has implemented preparations of classrooms, remote study halls through video conferencing, and laboratories, noting that the hybrid education system combines direct and remote study, each according to what the nature of the college, whether practical or theoretical.
