Sharjah 24: The Mweileh Suburb Council met with the Sharjah Municipality (SM) at its Sharjah headquarters to explore ways to improve joint collaboration and deliver services to citizens, as well as areas of joint collaboration between the Sharjah Municipality and the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs.
Majid Al Junaid, Chairman of Mweileh Suburb Council, Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Butti Al Muhairi, Deputy Chairman of Mweileh Suburb Council, and members of the District Council were present at the meeting Friday morning.
Al Junaid praised the municipality's level of cooperation in improving the process of joint work to serve residents of Mweileh Suburb's neighbourhoods, in accordance with His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah's directives to serve citizens and provide services in their areas. He expressed his gratitude to the Sharjah Municipality for its commitment to expand the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs' existing partnership with the Sharjah Municipality.
During the discussion, it was decided to open a Sharjah Municipality office at the Mweileh Suburb headquarters to provide services to the residents of the suburb in order to fulfil the intended aims of ensuring citizens' comfort and convenience.
