Sharjah 24: Students and alumni of American University of Sharjah (AUS) now have a new way to show their AUS spirit with the launch of the online AUS Merchandise Shop. Now open, the shop features a variety of university-branded gifts, accessories and apparel.
The AUS community and wider public can access the shop’s webpage and choose from a diverse collection of caps, polo shirts, sweatshirts, t-shirts, bags, drinkware, notebooks, pens, and sunshades to be delivered to their doorsteps wherever they are around the world. The shop is the only place to buy licensed AUS-branded items.
Speaking at the launch, Professor Kevin Mitchell, Chancellor of AUS, said: “Students, alumni and other members of the AUS community have requested a way to purchase AUS-branded merchandise for some time. In response, the university worked closely with the AUS Student Council 2020–2021 and the AUS Alumni Association to select the initial items, and the line of products will continue to evolve and expand over time. The AUS Merchandise Shop will contribute to supporting students in need as eight percent of the total price of every purchase will be donated to the AUS General Student Support Fund.”
