Sharjah24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), discussed with Paco Diez, President of the Madrid Federation, ways of cooperation during the next stage, highlighting the importance of exchanging the sports experiences between the two sides, in order to contribute to the implementation of the development plans sought by the Council.
The meeting aims to ensure supporting relations with federations and external bodies, in a way that promotes the development of the emirate’s clubs and raising the efficiency of various cadres.
The meeting addressed a number of aspects that the Board is paying special attention to during the current visit to Spain, contributing in developing the sports in the emirate, in implementation of the visions and guidelines of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the support and follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah.
Commenting on this, Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami said that the meeting touched on many positive aspects that are of interest for the two sides, such as the exchange of players and opening doors for Emirati talents, in addition to qualifying coaches, which contributes to refining the capabilities of coaches working in the clubs of the emirate, contributing in opening horizons between the two sides in various aspects that strengthen bilateral relations, as part of the Council’s main objectives.
He pointed out that during the meeting the president of the Madrid Federation was informed about the role of the council in sponsoring sports and clubs and the efforts made at different levels.
For his part, Paco Diez, in turn, thanked Issa Hilal for this fruitful meeting, which marks the beginning of the sports cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council.
