Al Hazami discusses ways of cooperation with 'Marca'

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), stressed SSC’s keenness to communicate with various entities, including major media institutions, in line with its strategy and objectives to confirm the Emirate reputation at various levels.
This came during His Excellency’s visit to the headquarters of the well-known Spanish newspaper Marca, in the presence of Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, Director of Government Communications Department.

His Excellency Al Hazami toured the newspaper, which is considered one of the largest sports publications in the world, and was briefed on its work system, the number of its followers around the world, and the role it plays at the media level in Spain and globally, whether through the newspaper or its radio.

On the sidelines of the visit, His Excellency spoke to Radio Marca about the objectives of visit, maintaing that such endeavour comes out of SSC's keenness to communicate on the external level, as well as showcasing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness's unlimited support for sports in the Emirate. 

His Excellency indicated during the meeting, ways of cooperation at the media level, as the media is an integral part in achieving success and reaching the desired goals in competitions and championships. His Excellency highlighted that Marca is an outstanding media interface followed by athletes around the world and has a well-known name, which is what drives SSC to open the door for cooperation with such international publications.

His Excellency added that such visits open new horizons of international cooperation, whether with federations, institutions or media entities.
