Sharjah 24: The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), Issa Hilal Al Hazami, was briefed on the trials undergone by 4 players from Sharjah clubs at the Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
He confirmed that the professional experience of the Sharjah players abroad represents an opportunity to promote sport in general, and at the emirate’s level in particular, thus reflecting on the development of the emirate’s clubs and their players.
Al Hazami was paying a visit to the Emirati four players in Spain, who were undergoing a two-week probationary period with Rayo Vallecano.
He explained that the meeting with the players was to check up on them and to provide moral support in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to promote sports.
