Sharjah 24: Sharjah Club, Ittihad Kalba Club and Khorfakkan Club praised the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) for its exerted efforts to pave the path for its players to join the Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
This represents a great opportunity for the players to highlight their potential and abilities and work to honour the Emirate of Sharjah in Spain.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Professionalism Committee, stressed that SSC opened new doors for players to play in Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish League, which is an affirmation of its quest to open broad horizons for players to discover their capabilities. 

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan also indicated that the Emirate of Sharjah has highly qualified players, wishing the players success in this outstanding experience.

His Excellency Ali Hussein Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Football Company at Ittihad Kalba Club, revealed that the step of joining the players to Rayo Vallecano Club, including Ahmed Amer, deserves praise to SSC, represented by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC).

His Excellency Mubarak Masoud Al Hammadi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club and the official representative for the football company, lauded SSC’s initiative towards the players, including the club’s player Khaled Salem. 

His Excellency Al Hammadi pointed out that this falls into the interest of the strategic goals of talent development and raising efficiency levels through training programmes.

For his part, Nasser Al Tamimi, Director General of the Geneva International Football Academy, thanked SSC for supporting players to play in Spain, highlighting that the cooperation is within the framework of encouraging the national players of the Emirate of Sharjah. 

Maurice Bagnelo, Technical Director of the International Geneva Football Academy, confirmed that the joining of players from Sharjah clubs to Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish League represents a move for players to keep pace with the great aspirations of SSC. 

In turn, Ahmed Surour, Abdulrahman Juma, Ahmed Amer and Khaled Salem thanked SSC for such a great opportunity. They expressed their desire to make maximum efforts during the coming period with the Spanish club in order to honour Emirati football and the Emirate of Sharjah.
