Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), confirmed SSC's desire to communicate with various external sports parties in a way that contributes to the advancement of sports in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) highlighted that such effort falls in various aspects and through the promotion of various sports. In addition to keeping with the Emirate's great capabilities, the distinctive infrastructure of the clubs and the great interest that reflects the reputation of sports in the Emirate on the continental and international levels.
In the presence of Ahmad Al Hosani, Executive Director of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, His Excellency stated that participation in the World Underwater Sports Championships in Tomsk, Russia, recently resulted in a number of meetings with the Deputy Governor of Tomsk, Minister of Sports, and President of the International Underwater Games Federation.
His Excellency Al Hazami continued, "Our goal during the meetings was to introduce sports in Sharjah, the role of the council, the unlimited interest in the Emirate, the great care that the clubs find, and the efforts being made to promote water sports, especially after His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's decision to establish five Olympic training centres for water sports in the Emirate, which constitutes a significant investment.”
His Excellency Al Hazami and Ahmed Al Hosani presented the council’s shield and the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club shirt to the Deputy Governor and Minister of Sports.
