Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, inaugurated the awareness platform "We are committed to the homeland...drugs are a pest", at Al Zahia City Centre in Sharjah, to raise awareness of visitors, especially the youth, about the dangers of drugs and their harmful effects on the individual, the family, and the society.
"We are committed to the homeland...drugs are a pest" stems from Sharjah Police’s belief in the need to strengthen direct communication with community members and transfer of knowledge to them.

In his exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police said the opening of this awareness platform coincided with the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2021, and in completion of the activities carried out by Sharjah Police.

The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police called on members of the public to visit the platform and view the awareness messages aimed at educating all segments of society on the scourge of destructive drugs, wishing safety for all.
