SCFA collaborates with UoS in media field

Sharjah 24: A coordination meeting between the Cultural & Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs ( SCFA) and the Media Centre of the University of Sharjah' (UoS) discussed aspects of cooperation and the potential of using the university's filming studios for the "Ajmal Usrah" programme, allowing students and graduates of the Faculty of Media to develop and refine their talents in the field of media.
Salha Obaid Ghabish, Head of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs' Cultural and Media Office, the office's media team, Dr Sharifa Al Marzooqi, Director of the University of Sharjah's Media Centre, and a group of students from the Faculty of Media attended the meeting, which took place last week at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs' headquarters.

The two parties discussed the concept and goals of the "Ajmal Usrah" programme, and the strategic implications of its launch. The programme aims at providing all that contributes to family cohesiveness and unity, as well as to assist the family in dealing with the issues that threaten its stability, in order to realize the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, which entails the use of all capabilities to serve the family and its stability.

Salha Ghabish acknowledged that the objective of this meeting is to develop national media teams.

“The unlimited support and guidance of Her Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's wife is the secret of the continuous achievements that help families achieve cohesion and solidarity," Salha Ghabish said, adding, "The unlimited support and guidance of Her Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's wife is the secret of the continuous achievements in order to provide everything that helps families achieve cohesion and solidarity to a national level "

She further said that the "Ajmal Usrah" programme, which debuted in the first week of January, was a huge success, and that the programme's team is made up of Cultural and Media Office staff. The program focuses on spreading awareness through social media in order to reach the broadest possible audience and accomplish the intended outcome.
