Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) discussed opportunities to expand investment in the clubs of the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with the great potential in the sports sector. In addition to SSC’s plans through the Sports Investment and Marketing Committee in attracting various opportunities and entities for the benefit of clubs and sports in the Emirate and providing all the factors that fall into that endeavour.
This came when His Excellency Eisa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), recently received foreign investors from Montenegro and Croatia, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Al Dah, Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Sports Investment and Marketing Committee. Along with Khaled bin Sultan and Zakia Suhail Al Musharrakh, members of the committee, as a continuation of previous visits by the delegation related to sports investment in the Emirate.
On this occasion, His Excellency Eisa Hilal Al Hazami indicated that these meetings represent an aspect of SSC’s interest in activating opportunities for sports investment and encouraging the opening of new horizons of great potential.
His Excellency Al Hazami maintained that such efforts come in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), and their unlimited support for sports and athletes in various fields.
His Excellency Al Hazami added that SSC is keen to exchange experiences with various internal and external bodies, in a way that reflects the sporting progress in the Emirate, which benefits clubs, whether in infrastructure or investment in human cadres, and reflects positively towards the sports in the Emirate at all levels.
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Al Dah highlighted SSC’s interest in cooperating in the field of sports investment and welcoming the various initiatives and opportunities that are in the interest of developing the sport of the Emirate and translating the objectives of SSC.
His Excellency Al Dah concluded by stating that there was a previous visit to the delegation several months ago and many projects were reviewed through which two projects were settled, which are within the committee's efforts to develop clubs in the Emirate.
